The name of this organization shall be the Chat-N-Chew Choo Modular Railroad Club at Warren, Ohio, herein referred to as the C&CC Railroad.
Statement of Purpose: The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the hobby of Model Railroading, camaraderie, fellowship and learning for those with an interest in model railroading.
Membership: Membership is open to anyone 18 years of age or older. Only organization officers shall disburse the organizations funds. Only active members may be officers. The Board of Directors will dictate the amount of membership dues payable by members which will be due on a monthly basis. Dues will be based on those monies required to maintain facilities plus 20% for future capital expenditure or a minimum of $10.00 per month.
Events & Meetings: The C&CC Railroad Club shall meet no less than once per month during the months of September through April and whenever deemed necessary by the officers of the organization during the months of May through August. All members must abide by all rules of any establishment where shows and/or events are held, in addition to maintaining conduct becoming a club member. Failure to comply could result in forfeiture of membership which will be determined by vote of the Board of Directors of the C&CC Railroad Club. All Club meetings will be open to all active members.
Officers: This organization shall have a minimum of four and a maximum of six officers. No officer may hold more than two offices. these offices shall be: President, Vice President, Procurement Officer, Treasurer, Membership Officer and Secretary. Failure of any officer to uphold the duties of their office are grounds for removal from office. An officer may be removed from office by a 2/3 vote of the active membership. Election of officers shall take place on the first scheduled meeting day of November of every even numbered year. Office terms will start January 1st of the following year. In the event of the resignation of an officer, the Board of Directors will nominate a member to fill in that position until the following November elections. There are no limitations on the number of terms of office an individual may hold.
Duties of Officers: Officers of the C&CC Railroad Club are responsible for the maintenance of Club facilities. All procurement must be authorized by the Board of Directors. all disbursements of funds must be signed by the Procurement Officer and the Treasurer. The Board of Directors is not authorized to procure items other than those required for the maintenance and upkeep of existing facilities. New capital spending must be approved by a 2/3 vote of the active membership.
